Tompolo, Otuaro’s Organic Door-to-Door Rallies Tinubu’s Re-election

On Thursday, 9th July, 2026, the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, a grassroots political platform for mobilising voters for the re-election of the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, inaugurated its national leaders.

The ceremony at the Events Centre of the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, attracted attendants from the low, high, mighty and very important personalities, and successfully projected the president’s re-election campaign as a mission majority of citizens are committed to actualise, contrary to erroneous opposition claims.

As a sign of approval, heaven opened its firmament for showers of blessings very early in the morning and, again, in the afternoon with torrential rains and thunderstorms that left flash floods on roads. Yet, the inclement weather did not stop supporters of the president from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other political parties from converging at the Transcorp Hilton.

Addressing members of the movement, President of the Senate of the Federal Republic, Chief Godswill Akpabio, GCON, who represented President Tinubu, charged supporters of the president to knock on every door, respectfully, and canvass for votes to re-elect him for a constitutional second term.

“Knock on every door with respect. When they open, listen before you explain. Convince them with facts,” Akpabio stated.

Echoing the advice of the National Assembly leader, the National Chairman of the APC, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda urged the movement to by-pass no door as they canvass for votes for the party’s national leader, Tinubu.

“Your assignment is simple. Knock on every door. Move from house to house. Elections are not won on television or social media. They are won in marketplaces and in villages. 2027 is a choice between moving forward and moving backward. A choice between reform and retreat.

“Every door you knock on will become a vote and every heart you win will become a voice that will echo the Renewed Hope Agenda of our party,” Yilwatda stimulated the movement.

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement was founded by the rights activist, High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, who also nurtures the movement as its Grand Patron.

A detribalised Nigerian from Gbaramatu Community in Ijaw Land, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, Tompolo is the founder and chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), a leading Nigerian indigenous security firm protecting and securing Nigeria’s oil and gas facilities, to whose patriotism Nigeria owes a big gratitude for the huge revenues currently deriving from a higher crude oil production that stands at 1.8 million barrels per day, today.

Explaining how Tinubu’s genuine love for Nigeria inspired the formation, Tompolo said, “Tinubu has done a lot for this country, the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The people are ready to support him to do more when properly enlightened and galvanised.

“The people are ready to reward his genuine and transparent love in 2027 and this movement is an affirmation of our appreciation and goodwill to ensure that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, gets votes from every home in Nigeria for his re-election and consequential prosperity of the nation.”

Fondly called the ‘General Officer Commanding’ (GOC) of the Niger Delta, Tompolo is a successful Niger Delta leader, who is highly respected by men and women of all walks of life, who are proven and successful in different fields of endeavours.

At the forefront of Tompolo’s men and women driven by altruism and patriotism, a force in the reckoning of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement’s success, is the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), High Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro, PhD.

Dr. Otuaro, whose PAP administration is hailed for helping to consolidate security, peace and development in the Niger Delta through education, training, empowerment and peace building, asserted, “President Tinubu has done very well for the entire Nigeria, particularly in the Niger Delta Region.

“Come 2027, we will make sure the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement works assiduously all over the country to give him the massive votes for his re-election.”

Among the others, there is the Managing Director of Tantita Security, High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Ebimobowei Pondi as well as many others, who are successful entrepreneurs and captains of industries.

Yet, among the most patriotic followers who prefer to thrive from the background outside the limelight on Tompolo, is the Technical Assistant to PAP Administrator, Mr. Edgar Daniel Biu, a critical and strategic mind.

As the organiser of the lauded inauguration ceremony of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement’s National Executives and Public Lecture, Mr. Biu, among other key players, was responsible for attracting the thousands of door-to-door members, non-members, very important personalities, government leaders, captains of industry, professionals, artisans, stakeholders, coordinators, volunteers and students to the Transcorp.

While the Senate President, Akpabio led who-is-who roll call as President Tinubu’s representative along with his fellow senators, the president sat with the National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu to watch the inauguration chaired by a former House of Representatives Speaker and ex-governor of Katsina State, Mallam Aminu Bello Masari, on live television.

Others include: incumbent Speaker of Representatives, Rt. Honourable Tajudeen Abbas and other green chamber legislators; the Minister of State for Petroleum, Mr. Heineken Lokpobiri, PhD., the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume and other members of the Federal Executive Council; state governors such as Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal; Plateau State, Caleb Muftwang; Niger State, Mohammed Bago; Taraba State, Agbu Kefas; Benue State, Hyacinth Alia; as well as Bayelsa State deputy governor, Dr. Peter Pereotubo Akpe. Many traditional rulers also attended. Led by the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Amayanabo of Creek Land, His Royal Majesty, Asari Dokubo; and the paramount ruler of Gbaramatu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oboro-Gbaraun II; they include the Emirs of Daura, Lafia, Gombe, Katsina etc.

How did the name, Tompolo, galvanise such a huge interest, high calibre and many personalities for the inauguration? It is very simple for a name that has provided decades of trusted leadership, according to Biu.

“The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement is the brainchild of High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo. He is highly guided spiritually, morally and ethically.

“Tompolo has become a symbol of social justice not just for his Ijaw people in the Niger Delta but for everybody in this country who has been excluded in terms of political, social and economic inclusion, whether such persons are from the North, South, East and West. He has become that symbol for all Nigerians.

“If you look at his pedigree, Tompolo has provided leadership in the Niger Delta for about 30 years now, championing the issues of deprivation that affect Ijaw Land and other parts of Niger Delta. In doing so, he has confined himself to the understanding and framework of civic responsibility. He has pursued that with a strong sense to make this country functionally work for everybody, irrespective of tribe or tongue and irrespective of religious belief. That is what he stands for.”

For the National Coordinator, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, Tompolo formed PBAT Door-to-Door Movement to amplify the voices of ordinary Nigerians in order to foster greater collaboration between leaders and followers for policies that advance national growth, development and prosperity.

“As a people-centred initiative, the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement prioritizes community engagement over elite-driven politics, focusing on grassroots advocacy, political awareness, and citizen participation,” Asuku stated.

In relating Tompolo’s life to his clear intention and objectives for the movement, Biu clarified that he is not a politician. Politicians are known for empty promises. He described the freedom fighter as a rights activist with a dovetail of social activism whose diligence and transparency President Tinubu bought with conviction and trust.

“Tompolo is about nation building; ab initio, from the time of his dedication to the liberation of Ijaw people’s rights as it affects us economically, politically, socially and environmentally. He personally believes that President Tinubu should be given another four years to consolidate his gains and expand his social dragnets to include others in the economic springboard.

“By organising a door-to-door movement, the concept is organic. We will go to Nigerians to convince them. Medical doctors, lawyers, architects, engineers, teachers; artistes; clergy, traditionalists; traders, businessmen and women, market women and men, artisans, students etc. We’ll knock on their doors. Talk to them. That President Tinubu is a man that means well for Nigeria.

“So, it is out of a place of patriotism, civic responsibility and nation building that we are doing this. It is not borne out of partisan politics. The movement is not related to PDP or APC. It is a door-to-door grassroots movement formed to organically talk to ordinary Nigerians, irrespective of political affiliation, tribe, tongue and religion,” Biu added.

Until the formation of PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, the opposition were manufacturing tales of how the presidential election was going to be rigged for Tinubu. With the ongoing door-to-door campaigns by PBAT Door-to-Door Movement becoming the rallying force of all other support groups across the country, however, the opposition has become jittery, with the narrative completely shifting to a Tinubu and APC victory, freely and fairly.

By its strategic engagement, the movement is enlisting citizens for Tinubu at the household level, street level and community level in the Federal Capital Territory, the six regions of the country, the 36 states of the federation, the 774 local government areas, the 8, 809 wards and the 176, 846 polling units spread across Nigeria.

With the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, President Tinubu can sleep well, rest assured of the votes for his re-election in January 2027 and consequently, a prosperous nation.
