Effurun, Delta – There will be power outage in Sapele, WARRI and environ in Delta state, between 9am and 3pm on Thursday, according to the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).

The company in statement Tuesday signed by it general manager, public affairs, Ndidi Mbah, said the power interruption was due to scheduled maintenance on the Effurun 132/33kv 60MVA transmission substation.

"Similarly, the Delta substations maintenance work will commence for 10am to 2pm, allowing TCN's linesmen to treat a hotspot on a blue phase down dropper to the Delta/Effurun 132kV line Isolator. This will result in a four hour power interruption for Benin Disco customers in REFINERY 1, REFINERY 2, EFFURUN, WARRI, ENERHEN, PTI, SAPELE, and ENVIRONS", the statement read in part
