Arojie Tasks Nigerian Youths on Faithfulness, Kingdom Stewardship Amid Economic Woes

Benin, Edo – “Regardless of the challenges and economic realities of the times, faithfulness opens doors, attracts favour, and brings promotion.”
This was the rallying call by Dr. Phil Arojie, Founder of Day Spring Gospel Centre International, as he charged young people to embrace purposeful living and dedicated service to God.
Speaking at the Young and Singles Conference held at Dayspring Gospel Centre Int’l (Jesus House), Benin, during a session titled “Young Stewards of the Kingdom,” Dr. Arojie urged youths to see themselves as instruments God can use today, rather than merely leaders of tomorrow.
He debunked the common notion that young people are only relevant in the future, stressing that Scripture is filled with examples of young individuals who made significant impact through faithfulness, purity, commitment, and availability.
Citing biblical figures such as Joseph, David, Timothy, and Titus, Dr. Arojie noted that these young people became mighty vessels in God’s hands because they willingly offered themselves for kingdom service early in life.
“The future belongs to young people who choose kingdom service over selfishness and purpose over pleasure,” he declared, encouraging participants to dedicate their talents and gifts to advancing God’s kingdom.
The cleric emphasised that God’s primary requirement for stewardship is faithfulness, citing scriptures including Luke 16:10, Acts 13:1-2, 1 Samuel 17:34-35, 1 Peter 5:14, and 1 Timothy 4:12.
“He who is faithful in little will also be faithful in much,” he reminded the youths, warning them against wasting their prime years on frivolous pursuits, immorality, and youthful distractions.
Dr. Arojie highlighted that many renowned ministers and founders of impactful ministries worldwide began their journeys in their twenties and achieved lasting success through consistency, purposefulness, and dedication.
He further encouraged the young people to remain accountable, available, committed, and faithful, declaring that they are not too young to lead or make meaningful contributions to society and the Church.
“Youthfulness is never a barrier when character and commitment are present,” he added, urging them not to be discouraged by crises, setbacks, or obstacles, as failure is an event and not an identity.
