NNL bans Delta stadium from hosting football matches

The board of the Nigeria National League, NNL, has banned Warri Wolves home ground at the Sapele Township Stadium from hosting league matches, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

This was contained in a letter addressed to all State Football Associations and concerned clubs in the league and signed by the NNL CEO, Ayo Abdulrahaman.

According to the league body, the stadium is unfit to host matches owing to its deplorable condition.

Warri Wolves home ground has been subsequently moved to the Ozoro Township Stadium to host its league games.
